Magical & historical Glen Echo Park!  Really cool art deco neon lights at night.  Dances held either in the restored Spanish Ballroom or the Bumper Car Pavilion.  Both have HUGE wooden dance floors.  Dress in layers; not heated or air conditioned; fans in summer.  Pavilion has clear plastic panels & overhead heaters in cool weather and tiny white lights overhead. Ballroom has been magnificently restored. Ballroom Annex (adjacent to Ballroom) is climate-controlled with heating and air conditioning and new wooden dance floor.   Historic and magnificent carousel - 1921 Dentzel - just $1.25/ride, limited hours/seasonal. Picnic tables outside the dance halls, so you're welcome to bring a picnic. Clean, modern restrooms, water fountains.  Cafe with drinks and some food open limited hours/seasonal. No admission to park; admission for lessons/dance.
