“Wolf” Crescenze began playing bass with various bands in the DC area during the
garage band era of the 60s, most notably with Sassafras Tea. More recently, he has been seen onstage performing with Pinetop
Perkins, Guitar Shorty, Zac Harmon, Tab Benoit, The Nighthawks' Mark Wenner, Frederic Yonnet, Steve Guyger, Ruby Hayes, Bret
Littlehales, Memphis Gold, Daryl Davis, Linwood Taylor, Steve "Baby Jake" Jacobs, Robert Frahm, Nadine Rae, Clarence
“The Bluesman” Turner, Rusty Bogart, Matt Kelley, Tom Maxwell, Lisa Lim, Wave Milor, Mike Westcott, The Skyla
Burrell Band, Hot Rods & Old Gas, The Idle Americans, ACME Blues Company, One Bad Jack and DrMove. Presently, besides
gigging with his regular projects, Big Boy Little Band and Over the Limit, he hosts numerous blues jams in the Northern Virginia,
DC and Southern Maryland areas.
Besides music, over the years, Wolf’s interests include
building, painting and driving street rods and custom motorcycles. He is also considered one of the top carousel restoration
